he is def an A-level fighter. He is still a top 10 LHW and gave Chuck a good fight. Wake up guys, I know you guys dont like him but man give him a little respect. Chuck is just a bad matchup for him.

now do you realize how ridiculous you sound Mr. Bungle? losing to top fighters does not automatically make you a crappy fighter
Fedor's loss was crap.. he didn't really lose, it was an unintentional cut and usually in pride rules that's a No Contest (Draw), but just because the fighter was a japanese and local favorite, Pride announced it as a win to please the crowd. As far as I'm concerned, Fedor is undefeated

Oh and Tito isn't "not a top fighter" because of his loss to Liddell but because of him not beating anyone of note lately .. i mean beating that dead horse shamrock 3 times?? wtf was that about. His win against Belfort, who is not even half the fighter that he was, was also a shady decision. And Griffin sucks. I still think tito's a good fighter, but I hate that little bit ch's big head and mouth.

Actually this fight wasnt even in PRIDE it was in RINGS. They only gave TK the win because it was in a tournament format and there had to be a winner and Fedor was unable to continue fighting with the big cut he got, but you got the idea of it.

Tito made a good transitional champ. Sure, he held the belt for good while and has always been entertaining, but he kinda filled the void between Frank and Chuck's more dominant reigns. He's a very good fighter, but I don't think you can call him a great champion.

I'm re-posting this from an earlier thread but what the hell....

Tito is a good fight but a B level fighter right on pr with Jardine, Forrest, Bisping, and Evans till they surpass him. He didnt deserve that title shot whatsoever. 5 wins my ass. Well ya 5 straight wins but come on. 2 wins against an over the hill, washed up Ken Shamrock he already beat up. He barely beat a TV star in Forrest, fought Cote over two years before he fought Chuck, and Vitor hasn't been Vitor since he knocked out Wandy.

Jeremy Horn is better than Tito
Babalu is better than Tito
Rampage is better than Tito.
Vera is better than Tito.
I would even take Bobby Southworth over Tito right now.

Tito is more of a personality than any fighter I've ever seen. His real name isn't even Tito. He admitted to modeling his persona after Stone Cold Steve Austin, (I.E the double-finger flipping at the Lion's Den, and his lil stance before fights, wipes his hands on his trunks before the bell has even rung just like Austin did. The guys is a good fighter but he is so overrated its not even funny.

Chuck Liddel VS Tito Ortiz is almost as big a mismatch as
Tiger Woods VS Michelle Wie in golf.

Disrespecting your opponent is disrespecting yourself!, why do the Tito Haters disrespect his fighting ability? He is a good capable fighter he has the balls to take on opponents that will give him a hard fight or even a loss unlike a lot of the so called Boxing Champs out there.
Guys if you dislike Tito then state why as just calling him names and generalising is pointless lets see constructive criticism of his Techniques, Tactics etc rather than childish schoolyard taunts.
I am not a Tito fanatic BUT i do respect him as a fighter and i do question his tactics against Liddell but i wasnt in the Ocatagon fighting so its an opinion.
Well done to both fighters, i particuarly appreciated the use of body shots by Liddell in this fight.
