Wow AMIR dominating, that Johnny Hendricks loss really did him some good, "I think it was an bit of an early stoppage." but it really must of motivated Amir to train hard in the GYM.

Part of me believes he kept going for take downs after he had blackburn hurt, just for experience on the ground, and to perhaps show off his ground skills.

I believe Dan Hardy might of done this also against Swick.

He had Blackburn in serious trouble all 3 rounds, while blackburn wasn't threatening at all from the feet, and each time he took him down.

Amir is one of my favorite fighters, huge underdog on TUF, made CB tap twice from his back, and he is now showing some sick standup skills.

HE is also probably the most humble guy in the UFC as well.

I agree that Hendricks was stopped early. If you watch the replay, I don't recall him even hitting Amir when Amir dropped, all of the punches missed lol.

I also agree about the fight benefiting Amir. I mentioned earlier that I think Amir has looked great since losing to Hendricks. He beat Baroni and absolutely dominated Blackburn.

I'm glad to see Amir get the win. I was reading this fights breakdown article from a blogger and it was sort of irritating to see how they gave Amir a very low chance of winning. They were basically saying Brad Blackburn was very well rounded and it would be a big upset if Sadollah actually came out with the win. I was like "wow, really?" I know Sadollah is very inexperienced, but Brad Blackburn hasn't exactly shown he is a contender yet either. He was previously 3-0 in the UFC with a notable win over Ryo Chonan. Chonan isn't a bad fighter, but he hasn't been relevant in a while in my opinion. Blackburn still has a lot to prove just like Sadollah does.

I don't think there was a favorite to win in this fight, but I was picking Sadollah from the beginning and I'm glad I kept him as my pick regardless of how the odds of him winning were. He schooled Blackburn in this fight.

Top 3 Favorite Fighters
1. Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell
2. Glover Teixeira
3. Demian Maia

Yeah great fight from Amir, he really put on a Muay Thai clinic. I just hope he doesn't try to pull a Forrest during any post fight interviews.

I've never been very impressed with Blackburn his striking always seemed a bit mediocre to me, I definitely don't see him with the UFC for very long, unless he can start improving a lot more than he has shown.

Brad Blackburn seemed very weak during the fight, as if he didn't have strength behind his punches. They were very slow and sloppy. Not sure what the cause was but that definitely wasn't him at 100%, I could go as far as to say he wasn't even at 70%.

I have to say I have a new-found manlove of Amir, sick MT, great character and a total force to be reckoned with, I just hope he can keep this up but those are two seasoned vets that he has just owned.
