St. Pierre vs. Serra Off!!

Just saw that GSP has injured his knee during training for this fight so he wont be able to compete on the feb 3rd card. This sucks not so much because i wanted to see him vs. serra but i wanted that fight out of the way so we can see him defend his title against either hughes or sanchez now we will probably have to wait for awhile to see either of those matches since serra still gets first shot at the title. Thoughts???

lfaris fantasy team
1. BJ Penn
2. Rich Franklin
3. Randy Couture
4. Melvin Guillard
5. Marcus Davis

So this means we might get Hughes vs. Sanchez in March?

Yeah, i saw that on the ufc site too. This really sucks...that must be a pretty bad knee injury considering the ppv isnt for another month. Oh well, good thing the rest of the fight cards are stacked.

I definitely agree with you there. These upcoming WW & MW fights are a joke if you ask me. I was really looking forward to a #1 contender fight between Hughes & Sanchez and then GSP taking on the winner. That sucks that they're locked into giving Serra a shot. BTW, where'd you hear all this??

It's here:

Breaking news

Keep checking in there as I'm sure it will be updated as to exactly how it happened and when we should expect him back.

Dammit.

Or it could just keep him from training and consequently he pulled out. GSP is known to be extra cautious unlike other fighters.

My Top 5

(0. Fedor)
1. Cro Cop
2. GSP
3. Mauricio RuA
4. Quinton Jackson
5. BJ Penn

Are they going to crown an interim champion like they usually do?

Maybe have Serra fight fight Sanchez or maybe Hughes for the interim Welter Weight title and the winner of that defends against St. Pierre when he is healthy to unify the titles.

Serra and Sanchez, Hmmmmmmm. That would be good. I'd have to lean to Sanchez on that one
