Im sure Mike gets paid for these blogs and im sure he is encouraged by media and the UFC itself to talk about the fight. He would be doing the fans and the UFC a disservice if he just "shut up and talk after the fight" like some are suggesting.

You didn't quite catch my point. I'm not saying that you can't like Bisping if you are a brit, but I'm just saying, that there are many people who do, and they are always pointing out the fact, that they are also British, almost like an argument, that if you hate you're own countrymen, he is even worse.

Anyway, ColdCall explained his reason, and I was just saying it becouse it's not the first time I've seen this.

I think all you Bisping haters seriously underestimate this guy, he has a lot of potential, and as for this fight against Wandy, I am 95% certain Bisping will finish this fight before it goes to the judges.
Im just wondering, what could you base this statement upon other then sheer bromance over your fighter Bisping. Its one think to say he will win, maybe via decision, or that you hope for a knockout. Bisping has struggled with every B level fighter thrown at him and certainly didnt finish them.

I always say that the best sign that a fighter is over the hill is when he gets head tattoos, especially tacky tribals.

Bisping is hungry, all the hate is motivating him. Hes gonna win this, rather easy I bet.

I really don't see why Bisping gets all this hate, people say he is overrated, i don't think hes rated very high. Hes a very good fighter (like many in the UFC) but not the best. Noone ever said he was the best.

I'm pretty sure that he bases this statement on his opinion, just like your basing your statements on opinion.

When you say that Bisping struggles with B-lists I must say that your biased beyond hope. In his last six fights he had both of his only two losses so far, I give you that, but they were both to top notch fighters. He TKOd Jason Day and Charles McCarthy in the first round, TKOd Denis Kang in 2nd and won unanimous decicion over a juiced up Chris Leben. I'd say the only struggles in his last 6 fights have been to Hendo and Rashad who beat him.

Now lets take a look at Wandys last 6 fights. I'll summarize this in a quick fashion: It generally ended with Wandy facedown drooling and unconcious. I'd say that Bispings 'struggling against B-lists' is preferable to that.

And yes Wandy fought some tough guys in those fight but except for Hendo and Rampage they were all just like Wandy, big names thats gone a bit to far over the hill...

EDIT: Lol someone neg repped me for joking about head tattoos! Must have hit a sore spot on someone with cheekbone tribals or something...

honestly the more ppl hate and hate on Bisping makes me start rooting for him a bit. He is almost always respectful and thoughtful on aspects of fighting and i thought he was a fine coach on TUF. Always gotta go with those underdogs of life, Serra did it for me once, i'll be rooting for Micheal Bisping for the 1st time vs Wandy.

First off, i don't like Bisping. For many of the reasons people posted on here and more, which is why it saddens me to predict that he will beat Wandy.

I just think that Bisping will be too fast and too elusive to get caught by an aging Wandy who will be fighting at a weight he's never had to make before, i got a feeling we're looking at Bisping/Leben 2.

Make no mistake, besides the outside chance that Wandy knocks him out early, this fight will be decided by cardio. Word on the street was that Wandy struggled to make 195 on his last fight, and those extra ten pounds are going to be tough to cut, especially the first time.

Hoping: 1st round epic knockout win by Wandy.
Thinking: 3rd round decision for the dancing Brit.

Not a Bisping hater, more like a Wandy mark.

Pretty sure head tattoos don't have anything to do with capability.

The fight is winnable for Bisping, he's got the footwork to outpoint Wandy for 3 rounds and maybe get a couple takedowns in between. He doesn't have the power to put Wandy away either standing or on the ground, but he can definitely win a decision with a bit of luck.

On the other hand, one solid hit from Wandy is all it takes to put the fight away. Unlike Kang who tried to play a submission grappling game on the ground after dropping Bisping, Wandy will more than likely do what he did to Jardine if he gets a solid shot in on Bisping. If Wandy gets a knockdown on Bisping, you can be pretty sure there will be a brutal rapechoke beating, he won't be playing twister like Kang.

I don't get it.....

Where did he say a single thing wrong? He has said some silly stuff in the past but I found nothing in that article that is flame-worthy. As everyone has already said prior Mike had nothing to do with the article title. Poor old Bisping receives a massive amount of hate in unjustified flame sessions. If you are Yorkshire born I thought you would have offered the guy a little support, rather than overreact to an article that has obviously been written to paint Bisping as "that" guy.

That being said Wandy is a weapon and I hope he can get a win on the night. I'd rather see Bisping dropped from the UFC than him. I think the loser of this fight may lose their contract, they have two new and improved Brits now Mr. Bisping is no longer needed
