I didn't follow the link or watch the video but does Diaz actually BLAME his loss on Joe's commentary? It seems like he's merely suggesting that Joe's commentary influenced the general fans' reaction to the fight. I can't say for sure if I agree as I don't remember Joe's commentary at all.

I would have called the fight a Draw but it could've leaned either way depending on judging criteria IMO. If Nate is trying to blame the loss on the commentary then yes that's a bit retarded but if not then I can kinda see where he's coming from. Never found Joe particularly biased but there are times where I question his comments.

It's always a toss-up with the judges. That's what happens when you don't finish the fight. Could fo went either way though imo.

I was starting to like Rogan a while back, but more and more on UFC his commentary is turning retarded, and surely biased. First of all, he has been getting biased, and almost always pops wood for LEG KICKS.

He also has a problem with speaking too soon, like saying "I TOTALLY DISAGREE" before he has a clear picture of what's going on. And changes his stance on things, and acts like he knows it all.

Disagreeing with the Bones Jones elbows, because Rogan knows the physics behind the rule, I was watching ULTIMATE 100 GREATEST FIGHTS, and Rogan actually says he disagrees with EVER standing a fight up, yea, ok.

He needs to start commentating MMA like an actual sport, and not like a frat party, his word is not God, and he seems intelligent enough to not be such a dope.

I disagree with standing a fight up as well, in fact I had a full debate about that in another thread.

Rogan didn't have anything to do with Nate losing, the judges don't make calls based on Joe lol.

Silly people these days.

I can definitely see an argument there, but in Rogan's case he'll go from saying something like that, to saying "The ref needs to stand these guys up" the next month. He flip flops his opinions. And just blurts BS out depending on the circumstance.

I disagree with some stand-up's, and I sometimes think a ref isn't stepping in soon enough. It is the REF'S decision, and I've always viewed it as a matter of time management. We're talking about 5 minutes a round where inactivity on the ground could waste a lot of minutes.

But not to get off topic, I agree, Nate lost that fight, and Rogan's commentary whether retarded or not would have no influence on a judge whatsoever.

Stand up or don't stand up is all on opinion, and something I'd really not rather dive into at the moment.

He does change his opinion a lot, though. I think Rogan is 90% great commentator, 10% bad/weird/inconsistent/biased commentator.

Either way, as I'm sure we all know, the judges don't make calls based on what Joe wants, so Nate's comment about it is... well, it's either "out there", in a way that he doesn't literally mean he lost because of Joe, but was just making a point that Joe's commentary was biased, or he actually does think that, in which I think he's smoked a bit too much weed.

I have to give Rogan some slack; this type of biased commentating is prevalent in mainstream sports.

In case you've never heard Joe Buck commentate a Yankees game or an Eli Manning game; its pretty much as bad as the Rogan stuff.

I agree with this statement. I watched the fight again and I feel stronger than before that Diaz won but Rogan didn't have anything to do with judging.
