For Koscheck though, fighting smart isn't what the fans want to see and I think a lot of fighters bear that in mind. He could go out there and try three or four takedowns, just suffocate him with the wrestling and ride out a decision win or try and win by TKO.

Or will his pride get the better of him and will he try to beat Daley at his own game? I think the latter will happen.

We hear it from fighters all the time. They fall in love with the striking even though their strengths are elsewhere.

Favourite Fighters:

Dan Hardy
Paul Daley
Georges St-Pierre
Nick Diaz
Cain Velasquez
Frank Mir
Demian Maia
All the British MMA guys
And... Fedor!

Guess you didn't read Daley stating he wanted this fight to test his wrestling defense...so he has some, but it still needs testing, so that would probably mean there is room for improvement....I hate KOS and hope he loses but I wouldn't be shocked to see him take Daley down, although I doubt he could keep him there....

Koscheck is a very good wrestler and is improving all of the time. That being said if Daley can defend the takedowns then this will be his fight for the taking. Also, although Daley was subbed by Shields, he showed that he didn't have bad GnP either.

For anyone who thinks Thiago Alves would beat Daley, I used to think this but these days I'm not so sure, it would be a war though. I reckon Daley could get the better of it and even KO Alves

People need to watch his fights throughout his career, he's got a solid chin, ridiculous power and deceptively slick technique. I think he can beat any WW who decides to stand with him.

As far as a fight with Kos goes, all that really matters is how much Kos goes for the takedown and whether Daley can get up, because he will get taken down.

Guess you missed the point of my post....which simply was that he himself still needs to improve his TDD....and he considers KOS a good person to do that with....

Thats all I meant.... You quoted my post read the entire thing...Im not saying he doesnt have any....simply that he wants to test it, which would suggest thats where he feels he is weak.....

I think Daley should have gotten his shot at the title after Kampmann. I mean Swick vs Kampmann was supposed to be for the number 1 cotender. Swick gets hurt Daley steps in. Then Daley damolishes hazelett. Now he is going to go in and ko kos. So when he goes in and ko's Kos will he gets his shot? And will internet fans finally shut up!!!!
