Who Is The Next Star At 205?

chuck cant stay on top forever. i dont think any of the guys coming up really have much of a chance with chuck. honestly the only guy i think right now that has any real chance is brandon vera. he has talked about dropping down. but one day chuck will retire, and leave the spotlight to shine on someone else. we have a couple up and comers that could maybe be that guy, jardine looks pretty good in every fight he has had. im not really a rashad fan, but you cant deny that he is on a streak. i was a little let down with bispings performance but after watching the fight again i realized that it may not have been that bisping was a little off, but that eric schaeffer isnt that bad. of course we have rampage npw also, who i think if he gets a few decisive wins under his belt and boosts his confidence, he could be a force again. i really like wilson gouveia. i thought he had a really amazing fight with jardine, and after seeing how jardine dismantled forrest, i think that tells us something about wilson. btw i think jardine might have exposed forrest saturday.

Out of the TUF guys? I'd definitely say Rashad Evans. I'm not a huge Rashad fan, but I can tell he has improved greatly. His boxing has gotten much better, and he has now shown the ability to finish a fight. Throw in his wrestling, and you have a dangerous fighter.

yeah im wondering what will happen down the road with jardine and rashad. they say they wont fight, but it may come down to them having to to determine the top contender

I honestly think Michael Bisping is going to be the future of this division. He already has very good skills, he is well rounded, and i think with time, and experience, he will become more comfortable. I think Rampage will be at the top for a while being a serious threat to chuck right now, and only time will tell if he defeats him again.

if crocop moves down... ;)

my votes for vera or rampage
the others are weak
rashad CAN'T finish a fight IMO..
he takes them to the ground and lays there

i saw a fight night where he fought sam hogart, and he was very unimpressive..

Rampage no doubt about it. The UFC fans will love this guy.

Rampage i think is a very serious threat to chuck, and if they dont love the way rampage fights, they will love his personaility.

aslong as its the old rampage that shows up. he has to let go of those brutal beatings he took at the hands of the chute boxe fighters. if the rampage from like 2003 shows up, the belt is as good as his.
