Asked is this return would be in the UFC, Arona confirmed. “I can’t talk about this project right now, but there’s a connection between me and the UFC now, something concrete that I didn’t have before. My return will be in the end of the year and will be in the UFC”, Arona revealed, exclusively to TATAME.com. “I’ll be worried about my performance, my knee and my body. I wanna do my best in every fight. I’m used to big competition like the UFC, I wanna be ready”.

Can't be a bad thing...Well unless his knee gives out in his first fight but I for one am looking forward to seein him in the UFC. As if LHW wasn't already stacked...

I'd like to see him start in SF and face Mousasi first.

I like Arona, and wrote a little piece about him wanting to get into the UFC a few months back for my blog site (that I kept up for about 2 weeks

). I'd definitely be interested in seeing him in the UFC. I think the fact that he's never been really entertaining has counted against him, he's a very talented fighter. He beat Wanderlei Silva on the way to reaching the PRIDE 2005 Middleweight tournament final, he's also got wins over Dan Henderson, Alistair Overeem, Murilo 'Ninja' Rua, Guy Mezger, Dean Lister, Kazushi Sakuraba; and he took Fedor to a decision. I hope he gets over his knee injury and and is fighting for the UFC by the end of the year.
