Honestly, I don't think Silva is the greatest thing at 185, but he is exactly the kind of fighter that's capable of beating Filho. He's been confident in his last few fights and he's been dominant on his feet. He has a BJJ blackbelt, which means he's not a cakewalk to submit. And they're both Brazillian Top Team, aren't they?

I do think Filho's a great fighter, but he can't be on this list yet because he hasn't proven how good his BJJ is against someone with an established BJJ or wrestling game. Chonan has submissions, and so does Misaki, but they aren't going to challenge Filho's strength.

I want to say that right now it looks like Denis Kang is the best. It's just my opinion, but I think he should have won the Misaki fight, and that's why I consider him the best. Really, he's been unstoppable otherwise.

After Dan beat down Vitor Belfort, I think he's got a good shot at being called the best again, but here's what I'd like to see:

A four man tournament:

Dan Henderson
Paulo Filho
Denis Kang
Kazuo Misaki

Those are the guys I call top competitors, anyways.
i like kang too. i hope we see a hendo title defense against kang at the next u.s. pride event

Yah Belfort is kind of a bum nowadays, Assuerio is good when he doesnt make mistakes, Ryoto is a f-ckn beast, and Silva is #1 right now in the UFC MW.

I cant wait till Filho isnt injured, I wanna see him face Hendo or Kang. They should fight at 33 then give Filho the winner when he is better.
