Wathing some Frankie Edgar fights
And he has about a - 46% chance of winning....
that's right a MINUS 46% chance.
He's a small not close to being as good version of a GSP, poor guy doesnt stand a chance.
They say *anything can happen in a fight* not this one tho lol.

I don't expect Frankie to win but I expect Frankie to show up and put up a fight, he is IMO a much more accurate striker than Diego, he may not have the power to knock BJ out but well at least I think Edgar will be able to hit BJ. I think it will be a great fight with a very predictable outcome.

Never forget, pretty much everyone said this about Serra vs. GSP I, and most said it about CC vs. Gonzaga.

A lot of people are writing Frankie off in this fight completely and it's kind of astounding to me. I'll admit that I think he has little chance of winning, but he isn't going to roll over and die. I think he has a better chance of beating BJ than anyone else at LW outside of maybe two fighters (Kenny if he can get his shit together and stop being an idiot and Tyson Griffin with his crazy cardio and jelly limbs). I give him WAY more of a chance than the likes of Gray Maynard or Diego ever had. He's got the wrestling to keep it standing if he wants and he's got the technical boxing to stand with BJ (probably not beat him, but he'll fare better than Diego could ever hope to do). If BJ has a weakness it's his takedowns and when he wants to be, Frankie fights like a LW Chuck, obviously with far less power in his hands, but thats not to say he has NONE.
I fully expect that Frankie is going to lose, but I also do not expect it to be nearly as lopsided as Kenny and Diego's fights were.

I totally agree with you. Also don't forget that Edgar has already beaten Tyson... Tyson also lost a close match to Sherk whereas Edgar outclassed Sherk in an almost identical match up.

Frankie Edgar has some fast scramble. I think it was a fight against T. Griffin that I watched. I was like, I bet he beats the hell out of everybody when they crabwalk in class.

I am looking forward to this fight! It is way better than Penn/Maynard! I don't think that Edgar will win, but I give him a chance to win.

Yeah, he has great scrambles. Just watch the Veach fight... every time he gets slammed he insantly hits a switch, and gets right back up. He's a stud, I love Frankie Edgar.
