Who is seen more as an underdog? Edgar or Hardy?

With all the P4P talk and how dominant both GSP and Penn have been in their respective weight classes, I'm curious as to who out of their next two opponents is seen more of an underdog? Pretty straight forward question and please keep your blind love for both fighters to a minimum. The reason why I'm asking this question is because of all the talk as to how both Dan and Edgar have no chance, etc. If you believe they are equally considered underdogs, then feel free to not vote and state your reasons why.

Hardy, guy doesn't stand a chance in any facet of the game. Edgar may get lucky and land a good punch.

Based on calibre of previous opponents, I'd say Hardy.
Edgar has beaten Sherk, Griffin, Fisher and Franca, all impressively, and he has a win over Jim Miller outside the UFC.
Hardy's biggest wins are Davis, who gave him a very close fight, Gono, who struggled in the UFC, and Swick, against whom he didn't look particularly impressive.

I agree Dan Hardy stands ZERO chance, because GSP will never underestimate another opponent and that means he is going to make sure that Dan wont be able to do ANYTHING....

And Edger is going to be brawling with BJ so he could get a lucky shot, where for GSP he is going to put the sad opponent Hardy on his back and make him a fish out of the water that loves taking elbows to the face
I see Hardy as one of the weakest title contenders we seen since Matt Serra, and he by far had the easiest road to get to title contention, his two biggest fights are from marcus davis who lost after this fight, and Swick which like others said was close.... And Swick being not impressive fighter himself is pretty sad to have a close fight with then get GSP a guy that made even Thiago Alves and Jon Fitch look like amatuars....

I see this fight as a UK pleaser, and a easy slaughter

You don't think Hardy has a punchers chance? And I agree with the other dudes post about which fighter has had the stiffer competition of the two within the UFC (Edgar). This may play into who is perceived as having more of an underdog status going into the fights.

This is all speculation but may add to the subjective debate regarding P4P.

I said Edgar. Hardy has huge punching power and at least has a puncher's chance. And how the hell would Edgar catch a shot on BJ's chin? Has BJ ever even been rocked?

Well when it TRULY comes down to it, EVERY fighter has a punchers chance so either we don't even say that because it apply to EVERY fight period, or does a punchers chance mean like a 20% chance of hitting there opponent and changing the coarse of the fight?

Because yeah he has a 10% chance of catching GSP but i don't think he will be able to change the coarse of the fight even if he did land a good shot, because i know 100% that Matt Serra can hit as hard as Hardy and it took him about 15 unanswered shots just for GSP to tap and still not get KO'ed...

So when i said he doesn't have a punchers chance thats what i meant by it, and plus i was just going off he comparison of Edger vs Bj and Hardy vs GSP

And yes BJ has been rocked before to answer Acefranklins question, even against one of the guys were talking about.... GSP????

i would say it would be almost equal as an underdog. they both have a punchers chance. Dan has much more powerful punch. Edgar's punches are not very impressive. he has quick hands but no KO power.

I'd say Edgar, becouse Hardy has the tools for pulling a Serra I (but I'm not saying he will).

Frankie is imo, but it's pretty close.

Hardy has a small chance of TKOing GSP. I don't see Edgar knocking BJ out but he has a better shot at decisioning BJ than Hardy does to GSP imo.

Dan's already a huge betting underdog. We'll see what the odds will say for BJ/Frankie. I think the lines will be similar.
