Its funny now that i think about it.... I never really rooted for the guy, and i always seem to want him to lose.... Hmm weird.... Yeah not a big fan of his style....
And he has the worst case of On some nights and completely off on others....
I never saw him as a threat even when Joe Rogen was all raving about him when he first joined UFC....
I guess im more of a hater when it comes to Vera.... He thinks he is this great fighter....
Which i dont know the dude but he comes off like it....

I'm on the fence with this guy. I want to show support because he really seems like he puts his heart into the sport. He's a natural fighter.
But he doesn't seem to progress. He's not getting faster, more powerful or showing improvment in his ability to finish opponents..

Good point about his being a Natural fighter, you can just tell with guys like him and Jones. They were just born with the mind and the body to fight!
Octagon or no Octagon you know those dudes would be always fighting naturally and without any training still being able to just kick someones ass...

I'd say I'm more disappointed in him than anything else. He's obviously pretty talented but more often then not he finds a way to screw things up and lose a perfectly winnable fight. Whether it's a crappy strategy, being unable to pull the trigger for the kill, or some other reason he often fights well below his potential. It gets a bit frustrating to watch after a while, and every fight becomes a guessing game of "how will he screw up this time?"

I like his personality because I find him funny, however I've become really bored with him. He is so inconsistent that it is easier for me to simply forget about him.
He really needs to step it up as a fighter and start showing signs of improvement and an ability to finish a fight and I'll be a fan once more. As of right now, he is a non-issue.

He use to show potential before he had that money arguement with the UFC. He was doing well, in a lackluster HW division, and was suppose to fight Silvia for the title but when he actually came back and fought Silvia he just never looked the same again. It was like he lost that killer instinct he had in the beginning.
Actually Jones reminds me of Vera in the beginning. I thought Vera was going to be great. Even though his competition wasn't top tier he looked like he was going to be a contender. Same thing I think about Jones now. I just hope Jones doesn't let me down.

Picked 'Love Him'. Dude's funny as hell sometimes and when he first came to the UFC he was like a wrecking ball (sorry if I stole that simile from someone else in this thread ). Brandon catches a lot of flack lately, especially on this forum, because he seems to have become rather tentative with his striking and, as some have already said, he makes some rather bizarre decisions in the octagon that usually lead to an L in a very winnable fight; like staying in the clinch without making any attempt to distance himself to where he would hold a clear advantage.
Brandon's had some disappointing fights lately but I still believe in the guy and root for him in every fight. I even rooted for him against Randy! Hopefully Brandon can make a big turnaround in his fight with Bones. I might be delusional but I can definitely see Brandon getting into the title-picture again eventually.

Not bothered. He seems a great guy, but he doesn't evolve. He's had a few nice KO's and he seems to me now that he'd rather try and take a safe option to victory rather than fight to win. Which doesn't work in his favour.

I don't really care, but I think he's cool, but don't love him. I think he shows respect to a lot of the guys he fights, he can be exciting, sometimes not, but he can be, and I think he does actually do his best to finish/make fights exciting, it just doesn't always go that way.
So, cool guy, I like him, don't love him and don't hate him, so I picked I don't really care.

Hate him.
I see a guy with talent, but I don't think he's ever going to fulfill his potential. The reason? Who knows, it just makes me mad.
He's going to have two consecutive losses soon after Jon Jones shows him how a young guy with talent should evolve into something special.
