look at thoes names!!! what?!?! although he did kill them all but thats not the point, the ufc does that with everyone, when you lose you goto the bottom and work your way up. Pride just does it better than anyone else because it makes you a better fighter if you have to work your way up and work for the belt.
But this is the real kicker, Tito fights the likes of Shamrock, Griffen and Belfort, and cote before he fights Chuck........ why didn't Tito have to fight Jardine, Babalu, and Horn??
why did he get easy fights to become the "number 1 contender" when fights actual fighters who aren't going in to retirement.
There is no madness to the ufc they just pick fights that they think would make them money as apposed to making the a real number 1 contender.
I agree with some of that but one thing that has "urked" me..how some people say Georges St. Pierre was dominating Matt Hughes in their first fight until Hughes got a lucky submission. I know you didnt say he was dominating but i just wanted to get this off of my chest. If anything, after watching that fight i thought it was a 50 50 round, only difference was St. Pierre got in a kick to the stomach which only the impact sent Matt Hughes back a couple feet but he didnt appear to be hurt at all..maybe the round was 51% - 49% in Georges St. Pierres favor but i wouldnt go out and say like some people "Georges St. Pierre was picking him apart that whole round then Hughes got lucky!" eh just my opinion though..
anyways, I'm hoping Mcdonald beats Franklin, then soon he'd get a title shot only to have Anderson rain on his parade in a quick fashion.......yup.
