He needs a better translator!

Paulo Thiago is quickly becoming one of my favorite fighters. He's had 4 fights in the UFC so far and 3 of those were some of the top guys from AKA. I think he is going to continue to get better and better and after a few more fights I would like to see him have a contender or title shot.

However, it doesn't seem he is getting the exposure he deserves from the English speaking fans. One of the main reasons I think is because of translator. Paulo might as well try learning English himself and it would probably be just as good. Last night at the post fight interview you could hardly understand what he was saying. Then, at the Post-fight press conference it was even worse. You could hardly understand what he was saying. It seems like he misinterpreted a few of the questions, and he even messed up at giving Thiago's response. I hope his translator works on his English skills so that more casual fans, or people who just don't have the patients to listen to the guy, have a better chance of understanding and connecting with Thiago.

WAR Thiago. That is all.

A common issue for the Brazilians. Also, Thiago doesn't have the ripped physique of a Koshcheck, GSP, or some of the other welterweights.

I'm sure Ed Soares will come swooping in like Don King soon enough.
