Thing is lets face it Couture drew the PPVs. Amped up about the next card with Big Nog vs Cain and the return of the Axe Murderer. I'm feenin' to see Wand back in action.

I've heard the same speculation on this point as well, but no confirmation of it. Of course, the details of UFC contracts are rarely disclosed, but I've never heard Dana, or anyone from Zuffa, or even any of the fighters confirm first hand that top fighters receive a cut of PPV revenues. Links appreciated.
The cash from sponsors likely just covers training expenses, which are considerable. Consider the phalanx of trainers, and hangers-on encircling each fighter after the fight.

Dana said ones that he has 20 fighters in the UFC who make millions. Many others make 6 figure earnings, these fight salries are probably not the important ones for them.

The figures I hear are that UFC fighters generally make approx. as much from sponsors as they do in salary. A lot less for SF fighters.
I believe Chuck Liddell was being paid seven figures annually by Xyience at the height of his fame.

agreed. Although Im surprised he is getting paid THAT well.
Then again he has a long history in ufc and used to be a WW champion, won the comeback season of TUF and coached one of the TUF seasons so even most of the casual fans know him pretty well. Even though he may not be top 3 WW anymore he sells fights way better than Fitch and Alves do, Kos is getting more than Serra though.

I think Matt Serra has 6 figure contract for winning the Ultimate Fighter season 4 or maybe that contract has expired.

You've got to realize that it was Randy's choice not to get a fight bonus. When the fights sign a contract they are given a choice: They can get a constant sum just for fighting and no Win bonus. Or they can chose to get paid much lower to fight, but then if they Win they make more money then the constant sum. Randys just being safe by taking the constant #
