I do see Ed's point from a manager's perspective and even from a fan pov. Nate would have been more interesting even though they fought before. Chael is really a BIG LOSE LOSE for A. Silva. It doesn't matter to me if Chael wins. He's like a John Fitch who grinds out wins. We're talking about legacy here. Chael or Fitch although they are quality fighters will never reach the status of BJ, GSP, or A. Silva. They don't have it in them. With that being said I'd rather see a Cote rematch and of course a bout with GSP, LHW, and then HW.
I was indifferent with Chael, but after the comments he made I find him rather annoying. So...he wants to make a name for himself by calling out people. I sincerely hope he gets put in the hospital and gets sent back to the WEC now.

Lol Dan and Nate should have fought. Anderson dismantled them already, no sense in having two rematches with both of them. This was of course before Henderson jumped shit. I agree with Soares and anyone who has any common sense on that matter.
But I agree, this is just silly. Maia/Sonnen II for the #1 contender spot? Lord. Don't agree with that at all. I think he's just trying to piss Chael off by playing as if he's not worthy to fight Anderson. Mind games.

Maia has a medical suspension until Aug 6, according to mmajunkie... let's get on with the Vitor-Silva winner vs Sonnen already... I don't care for Sonnen, but he deserves it.

Soares really needs to just shut up and let the UFC book the fights, suddenly he doesn't want Anderson to fight anybody, Nate and Dan should fight, oh Nate and Sonnen now Chael and Demian, please shut your pile hole already Eddie.

Agreed.
What's with guys getting KO'd, winning one fight and then getting boosted for title shots?

Not sure if the nuanced pot-shot at Anderson was intentional, but (in his defense) his most recent loss was by DQ when he got his title shot at Rich Franklin.
I mean, it was only ten months before the Franklin fight, and he did only have one UFC bout (and one outside the UFC), but it is a little better than getting knocked out in 21 seconds.

Silva is a bad matchup for just about everybody in the UFC right now. I don't see Sonnen/Silva even being competitive for more than 3, maybe 4 minutes of the first round, if Sonnen happens to make it that far even. Sonnen has nothing for Silva. Sonnen's stand up..., I'm not even..., nevermind, I'm just gonna laugh quietly to myself as I think about Sonnen trying to stand with Silva. The only way Sonnen makes it deep into this fight is lay n pray. That would mean that he would have to take Anderson down and hold him down. That would mean that he'd have to be a better wrestler than Hendo. I think anybody that knows anything about anything knows that Sonnen isn't even close to holding Hendo's jockstrap when it comes to wrestling. That being said, Sonnen has nothing for Silva. Despite Sonnen not being competition for Anderson at all, I would love to see this fight. After the douchebaggery that Sonnen has spewed on the world, I would absolutely love to see Silva tear his ******* head off. I really hope Sonnen keeps talking shit on Silva. That would mean that an angry, murderous Anderson Silva would be out to seriously murder Sonnen and I'd love to see that. But, if he is smart, which I highly doubt, he will shut up and train his balls off, so that he doesn't go out and completely embarrass himself. Although, him not being a total failure against Silva is highly unlikely.

Haha! I hope Belfort wins... then this stuff will seem stupidly premature! Soares... what an idiot. I do like him though!
