Look, Tito has certainly not improved since he last fought in the UFC (against Lyoto), but his skillset has certainly not deteriorated to a gross extent, either. (His cardio is a different story).
He's still huge, very strong, and has a reliable if utterly predictable ground n pound game.
And he fights two weight divisions above Kosh. Kosh is certainly a top 5 welterweight, but there's no precedent of MMA fighters moving up two weight classes to defeat contenders.
Fighters who have moved up in weight to win fights have moved up ONE weight class, and these were top 5 P4P fighters in the world: BJ against Matt Hughes, Anderson Silva, and Randy Couture.

But logical considerations are outweighed by emotional factors, such as how much internet fans hate Tito.

We can say 'Kos does this' and 'Tito does that,' but at the end of the day, this fight will never happen. I also wonder how people can be cool with Josh talking smack and issuing ridiculous challenges so as to garner attention, yet those same people get their panties in a bunch when Tito does the exact same thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm by no means backing Tito... but the double standards are ridiculous. Koscheck is as big a douche as Tito when it comes to talking trash. And don't say he doesn't also make excuses... 'I went stiff and my eyes rolled into the back of my head, but I wasn't out!' Sorry, peeps. Not trying to make enemies or start fights. I just don't see the logic in knocking down one clown whilst propping up another.

I must say, I have zero interest in either of these fighters. Both are douchebags. But, this fight would be great. Title fight, "UFC's Biggest Douchebag." Kos would maul Tito. Tito has nothing for Kos. I hate Koscheck but even I have to say that Tito's Junior High Class wrestling and spastic monkey striking shouldn't worry Kos at all. The only chance that The Huntingbeach ***boy has is if he can pull a triangle out of his ass and catch Kos by total suprise, like he did against Machida.

Tito called out a 45 year old HOFer who looked terrible in a post fight interview after losing the biggest fight in his life. He didn't even wait till a few days later or even till Mark was done talking to Rogan.
Koscheck is calling out a douchebag who shows nothing but disrespect to Legends. Tito also is still a decent fighter who also happens to be 2 weight classes higher then himself.

Not sure. Size would help Tito a lot, but I think Kos is just too fast and athletic and could avoind many of the takedown attempts.

LOL! Damone what up! That's so true. Let's have a cyberfight with words. They don't hurt as much as fists or kicks-or do they??...

I've no interest in who might be the 'classier' douchebag.
I happen to be a fan of Tito, though more so of the Tito who coached TUF back in the day than the Tito we have now. I don't approve of how he acted towards Coleman, nor should anyone. But Josh has done so much in his own right that could easily see him give Tito a run for his money in terms of douchebaggery. Let us not forget TUF. So, I reiterate... knocking down one clown whilst hoisting up another simply doesn't work. Though we live in an age of double standards, so I'm hardly surprised.
