Well he must have a metal jaw then. Glass doesn't rust :-)

By literally, he means having his actual jaw made of Glass instead of bone.

My guess is titanium alloy as he does not fear getting hit at all, that is one of his best attributes, his opponents fear getting hit much more than he does. And as my coach used to tell us it not the punch but the fear of the punch that is most dangerous.

Henderson also hit him with a really hard, flush right hook when he was backing up and Andy was coming forward (not sure if that played a huge factor) and Anderson just walked right through it. I remember seeing that and being like "WHAAAAAAAAT!?" Anderson has one hell of a chin, for sure. I don't see Vitor knocking him out very easily, if at all.

I use to think this guy never got hit. He rarely gets hit cause of the angles he uses. His tactics of slipping punches and his awesome foot work. Hed pretty much dances like Ray Robbinson or Leonard. I've seen Franklin, Henderson, Murary, among a ton of guys hitting him. I am not sure how flush. I believe he has a awesome chin. If you rewatch Franklin/Silva I, Franklin hits Anderson, Anderson drops his hands, tells him to fight, and that is where he hits that kill switch and the fight is all over. Guys like Anderson, Shogun, Nog, Jackson among others have solid chins. They could be one punched by a puncher like Carwin, Brock, Jackson etc. though, very unlikely. The most likely scenario would be like Big Nog getting stopped by Mir with a flurry of punches. Flurries are nice cause, you don't have to load up, less power, and it can look pretty spectacular.

The only way Vitor wins by KO is if he land a huge amount of punches and gets a ref stoppage for the TKO victory.

Congratulations you won!

Anderson has to go down as one of the best fighters if not the best the UFC has of all time. Despite his haters, he has gone off and beat guys that were said to have beat him especially with his poor loses earlier on in his career. It is highly impressive. I got Anderson the best p4p in the sport today. I think Fedor is among the best but, not fighting the top dogs in my opinion removes him from that title but, that is just my opinin and another topic all together. If you look at the best fighters int he world, ANderson, Fedor, GSP, BJ, Machida, Shogun, among others, they all are very well rounded and for the most part, have an awesome chin. Not so sure about GSP though, he got hit in the back of the head.

Yeah man that was my reaction as well haha. But difference between Vitor and Hendo is that Vitor's punches come in powerful flurries, so if he connects with a couple they'll eventually put him down.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

I don't think he'll have the time to get in more than one or two at once. I can't see anyone landing killer punches in bunches on A. Silva, taking into account all the amazing footwork and skill at evading strikes we've been talking about.
