I remember the classic "He has fast hands, so what?" quote from Franklin before the fight. Vitor's speed, technique and power will surely show us how good Silva's chin really is.

I honestly think Silva is overrated, but his chin is very good.

I have said to many people, if Silva beats Vitor I will be a fan. I don't care how he beats him, but if he does I will become an Anderson Silva fan. Until then, F that guy.

I got Anderson the best p4p in the sport today. I think Fedor is among the best but, not fighting the top dogs in my opinion removes him from that title but, that is just my opinin and another topic all together. If you look at the best fighters int he world, ANderson, Fedor, GSP, BJ, Machida, Shogun, among others, they all are very well rounded and for the most part, have an awesome chin. Not so sure about GSP though, he got hit in the back of the head.
GSP ate a huge punch from fitch as he was unloading on fitch's face. also his first fight with penn he ate some combos

Dude has an Iron Chin...I know some of you guys on here have seen the vid of him and Big Nog Boxing and he justs let Nog hit him in the head several times with no head gear!! I mean Big Nog was teeing off on him, then Silva would just absorb them and light him up. It's great vid

Before I saw that vid I always wondered myself.

Here's something that solidified my opinion on Anderson's chin. This is a video that's been posted a few times but it's worth mentioning for those who haven't seen it yet. Anderson Silva went to the Wild Card Boxing Club a few years back and had a sparring session with some guy. The other guy was a professional boxer and Silva pretty much tooled him for most of the sparring session. When the boxer pushed "the Spider" into a corner he unleashed some massive punches, much harder than he SHOULD have been throwing. Silva ate a HUGE punch at around 9:00 minutes into this video.

Every time I watch this video I laugh out loud at Freddie Roach's face after Anderson takes that punch. He's just like "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF"

Do you mean when Hendo almost had his back against the cage, after the shot I meantioned in my first post? I did notice he clipped Anderson on the jaw again, but wasn't sure if it just wasn't a very hard punch or whether it just didn't look hard because Silva ignored it.

He's got head gear on, if you can get knocked out with headgear on, you have a glass jaw. I don't think he really just brushes those off either, he does looked a little dazed.

Think. It Ain't Illegal Yet

I am not sure. Vitor is by far the best striker as well as the fastest striker Anderson will have faced. I can't say for sure how evasive Anderson will be when facing a top striker like Vitor. I am not saying that Vitor is better or that Silva is better, I am just saying that I am not ompletely sold on how Silva is on his feet since he has not faced a top striker yet.

I have a feeling that he'll be just as elusive as he was against Cote, which will eventually be his downfall when Vitor catches him.
