Anderson Silva's Chin

Who's tested it?

I just watched his fight with Henderson and and Hendo legit tagged Anderson with a straight right, but he just absorbed it and went into 'I miss yours, you don't miss mine' mode which was the start of the end.

I think I recall Franklin landing maybe one or two punches without much power in their second fight, and Cote clobbered him round the back of the head, but I don't recall him taking any really big shots. Obviously that's the idea and generally Anderson doesn't get hit, but from what I gather the consensus is he has a solid chin so when has this been shown?

Seems Henderson is one of the only people to test it.

He took a huge shot from prime Sakurai and barely blinked.

When Lutter had him mounted he landed several hard shots to Silvas chin and he didn't even seem to blink.

He could literally have a glass jaw, if you can't hit it, you can't knock him out......

I think guys need to start with something easy like, How do I hit him? Or how do I get out of the first? before they start talking about whether or not his chin is weak.

Think. It Ain't Illegal Yet

I don't think Silva literally has a glass jaw. Though that would be pretty cool and not good at all for fighting

I didn't say he did, I'm saying he could, because you have to actually hit someone before you can test their chin.

I think Anderson has a good chin (just intuition)

but for example if he gets hit from Hendo or Wandy or anybody else who has one puch knock out power, than also Silva's lights would go out. Same with everybody else.. it's just human! But he is definitely to good to get hit with such a bomb.

Everybody has a class yaw when he gets hit on the right spot.

but it would really suck to literally have a glass jaw. one punch and your face would be torn to shred. who cares about being knocked out then!

Everyone can be knocked out we know this when we saw fedor rocked, the question is how good is Anderson in defending his chin and that is already proven.

I think his chin may actually be a bit rusted due to lack of use.
