Seeing as its the first UFC event in Australia and all were going to go nuts. The thing about you're average Aussie is that he loves a slug fest, especially in Sydney after watching all those State of Origin fights and stuff so when this fight gets to the ground they might not find it all that entertaining. In saying that, tickets did sell out in under an hour so its pretty obvious that majority of the people buying the tickets follow MMA with a passion so I'm guessing most people will know whats going on when the fight hits the ground instead of screaming 'KICK HIM IN THE HEAD' when George is trying to secure a triangle or something.
We'll be cheering for George and probably boo Joe Stevenson but it will be more heat of the moment and just supporting you're fellow county-man more than anything. I for one really respect Joe and what he has done through his career. I'll just tell that to you guys now because I wont have that state of mind at the event
