Ryoto Machida vs. Sam Hoger at UFC 67

According to MMAweekly.com rumors section Ryoto will be facing Sam hoger. I didnt know that UFC picked up Machida, all I can say RIP Hogar cause your gonna get f-cked up real bad. Machida in the UFC LHW division is gonna be good, he should already be considered a serious threat to anyone.

didnt they say he was fighting rampage before they turned him into Eastman? I think they are gonna turn around and say hes actually fighting someone else, using Sam Hoger as the bait as always haha

Yah that was just Sam Hogar making up his own rumours about how he is gonna fight a striker and hinting at Rampage, I am pretty sure this fight is legit.

Machida is not that great. His fights that I have seen, which would be his last 2, are extremely unimpressive. He may have beat rich a long time ago and bonnar (blah who cares about Bonnar) and BJ Penn... but he doesn't look like much to me.

Why is Sam Hoger even in the UFC? He isn't popular, he didn't win the show, nobody likes him and he isn't any good.... um?

Lyoto has potential. His fight with White was boring, but good fighters can have boring fights. His fight with Penn was interesting, as he had trouble with Penn, then turned it up when Penn was gassed. Really slow fight, but it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. His fights with Franklin, Bonnar, and Greco were good. I have a feeling he won't set the UFC world on fire, but he's a solid addition to the LHW division.

Sam Hoger is a total can. No upside, and just an all around boring style. I'm predicting a very slow fight. I seriously hope Lyoto brings his A game, because he has a lot to prove now. With Rampage & Cro Cop being the talk of the town, this gives Lyoto a chance to be the sleeper.

Lyoto is definitely looking like the next big thing at 205. He decimated Rich Franklin at Inoki 3 years ago. He didn't have a great showing against Vernon White in the WFA, but he definitely deserves to be in the UFC.

I'm not going to hate on Hoger, but I think he's too cocky. Lyoto is just the kind of guy who can shut him up, and I think he'll do that.

beating bj penn...by decision....he was way way bigger its like a natural lhw vs. a natural ww

he beat franklin a while ago...not amazingly impressive i saw that fight he just capitalized on a mistake.

he knocked out bonnar.

he looks more impressive on paaper than he really is.

any of the follwing would beat his ass:

chuck liddel
