Losses that have really detrimentally affected a fighters career

Hey guys,

So I've been thinking about this for awhile now: major losses and what are some of those losses that have really detrimentally affected a fighter's career. First one that comes to mind is Cro Cop's loss to Gonzaga. He's just gone down-hill from there, losing to Cheick Kongo, (beating Al-Turk) and then being really outclassed by Junior Cigano.
Another one IMO was Chuck's loss to Rampage at UFC 71 where he lost his belt. After this, he lost to Jardine, UD'd Wanderlei, then got KO'd by Rashad and Shogun.

Anyway, what others can you think of?

Discuss.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

Another that comes to mind is when Ortiz lost to Liddell for the 2nd time. He hasn't won a fight since.

Aye, lets hope for a 3rd one of those after TUF!

Another "loss" that comes to mind is Mark Kerr loosing to Igor Vovchanchyn the first time (the one that was ruled a no contest after the fight). After that Mark Kerrs life and fighting career derailed in a grandiose fashion. Reminds me of the greek story about Icarus.

Jens Pulver's loss against Joe Lauzon made him go down hill from there, Bj Penn right after that loss didn't help either
