I liked it. I have only studied striking styles of martial arts, so from my standpoint, it's interesting to see two skilled fighters try and win without throwing a single strike.
Such a match seems like a mental and physical chess game to me. Mind versus mind, muscle versus muscle, skill and execution versus skill and execution. Each fighter seems constantly active. I see techniques being used even in things as simple as how they hold their fingers.
Ever since I have been a fan of MMA, it seems like I always prefer a good, technical ground show over a striking shootout. This is part of the reason that I am a Dustin Hazelett fan. The other part is the hillbilly beard
