I liked it. I have only studied striking styles of martial arts, so from my standpoint, it's interesting to see two skilled fighters try and win without throwing a single strike.

Such a match seems like a mental and physical chess game to me. Mind versus mind, muscle versus muscle, skill and execution versus skill and execution. Each fighter seems constantly active. I see techniques being used even in things as simple as how they hold their fingers.

Ever since I have been a fan of MMA, it seems like I always prefer a good, technical ground show over a striking shootout. This is part of the reason that I am a Dustin Hazelett fan. The other part is the hillbilly beard

I really enjoyed the video.

Danke, Bobby.

Haha I totally agree, the hillbilly beard is what made me interested in Dustin in the first place long time ago. Now I enjoy his fights because he is so skilled on the ground.

Pure grappling with no finish by sub is most of the time pretty boring to watch i think. Grappling in MMA is much more intense since you are allowed to to do more (ie striking). Why don't we see more wrestling style takedowns in BJJ/Submission Wrestling? Is it too easy to get caught in something if one shoots in for a single or double?
