Rampages training in Pride was a joke and he was often coming off ridiculously hard fights in tournys then had to face a guy like roided up Wandy next.... or Shogun Rua.

He is a much different fighter now.

Rampage isnt Rich Franklin, the only guy i really saw Silva DESTROY in the clinch in the UFC. He is MUCH stronger and MUCH harder to KO.

This is why Pride annoys me.... nobody mentions all the drugs these fighters were on, the ****ed up rules, reffing and situations... like coming off a ******* KO with a PRIME Chuck Liddell, party time?? no sir. now you get Roided up mentalcase Wanderlei..... and he gets to fight every japanese can off the street.

either way. I dont see Silva easily clinching and owning Page. Page has improved so much since those losses in Pride its not even funny, he is nobodys easy win.

That's the whole point. He understands how to avoid and defend the plum now. I mean you can't seriously believe Wandy didn't consider or attempt clinching. Or that Rampage didn't train that defense nonstop after those brual KO's.

Rampage would win due to size advantage, takedown offense, submission defense and incredible KO power. He'd be able to hold him down while avoiding submissions and eventually win by TKO or decision.

Forrest Griffin was destroyed by Silva.

I know 1+1 doesn't always equal 2 in MMA but this has got to go to Silva.

Silva lost to Okami who lost to Chael Sonnen (R) who lost to Paulo Filho who lost to Murilo Rua who lost to Rampage Jackson.

If that doesnt prove that Rampage Jackson will win this fight then nothing will!!!

Silva takes this. I love Rampage, but unless he can land the duck n roll hook, which is very unlikely on Silva, then he has nothing for Silva. Rampage is a great wrestler, but he said it himself that he hates the ground game, so he wouldn't even try to take Silva down, where he'd have very little success anyway but his size and strength would give him a slightly better chance of surviving. But his size, strength and wrestling wouldn't even come into play because he hates the ground game and that would mean that this fight would be a stand up battle. How many people in the UFC have we seen be competitive, for more than 15 seconds, in a stand up battle with The Spider?

Anderson cause he is one of the best ever and Rampage is not fully committed to mma, imho he gets beat by Evans easily and that will end this thread a millisecond afterwards.
