yeah i like them both when they are not fighting each other i cheer for both but when they are fighting in the same cage i do lean towards Penn

I just see it as this if it was not affecting the fight and they thought they could win with out it why keep trying to do it between every round.

interesting that he doesnt train in cardio, hes just a machine... you see all these fighters who gas out mid round 2 and are a joke.

and I wouldnt want to see BJ quit again in their third fight like he did in the second, rather watch GSP destroy someone else not named Penn

The only reason I would want to see GSP pound BJ into the ground again would be so I could get the fantasy points for BJ fighting in a main event.......

It's already 2-0 GSP, you only get to 3-0 when you're a can and the UFC is looking to make you a joke, see Tito v Shamrock.

if I was in penns corner I would have thrown in the towel too if I could see the the other fighter keep getting greased up every round and see my fighters guard which he is known for, just keep slipping off like he was a guy that had not trained BJJ in his life

if gsp has no interest in facing bj again then dana should force them to fight a third time lol.either that or give him the ultimatum-face bj or anderson or yourself because out of three weight classes (MW,WW,LW) i cant find anyone else close to his level.

why not ask the ref to check him out? I guess that must have slipped their mind while being scared for BJ's life. You can have a whole talk about the grease controversy again, and it will be another 6+ page discussion, but I wont.

UM..did you watch the fight they did and also the athletic Commission got involved plus other fighters saw it and tried to say something,

I agree that the greasing of GSP has been talked about allot and that is one of my main reasons he should want a 3rd fight

I am a huge fan of GSP's but he needs a 3rd fight to wash away the blemish i see as /is his last fight, him greasing made it a loss in my eyes

(p.s. just cause i know it will get brought up I am also a huge Penn fan.)
I don't think people did view it as bad. I think it got WAY blown up by the media and the NSAC was eventually like "**** it, we've gotta do something so let's press for a rules change."

What Nurse/GSP did (or didn't do IMO) was not a huge deal. People are acting like he slathered on heaps of vasaline on himself when in all reality, he had a very, very minute amount on him if any. We're talking remnants of the bits that Nurse put on his face spread all across his back AND rubbed in and then wiped with a towel. That's not enough to cause BJ any sort of trouble like it was claimed. IMO, after the beating BJ took in the first two rounds of that fight (Before alleged "greasing") GSP was clearly going to just wreck him for another 15 minutes.

Its not 2-0 GSP, the record book may show that but most people know BJ won the first fight.

I would have thrown the towel in, hell BJ tried to walk to GSP's corner at the end of the round, it was painfully obivous he was out on his feet.

I think Georges has the best notion concerning this fight. BJ simply has to earn a shot at WW Championship. He has to beat the other contenders in the division and earn his fight. I think is the fairest way for everybody involved.
