UFC Primetime - Is this a one-time thing?

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but is UFC Primetime (that aired last night w/ GSP and Hardy) going to be a new kind of thing before every important UFC event or is it just for UFC 111 because of the immense amount of hype?

This isnt the first prime time. They had it for the GSP vs Pen 2 fight and a few others like I think they had it for Machida Shogun as well.

They do it for the big Championship fights.

No they didn't had it for the Machida fight. You probably mixed it up with the Countdown show. But I hope they do one for the rematch, even though the chances aren't that high I guess..

After the Penn-GSP one, Dana said that they would try to do a couple each year on the biggest fights.

Don't really get why they did GSP twice, in a lopsised fight, guess they want more people to get excited and think Hardy has a shot.

They should do one for the rematch rua-machida and if Lesner and Mir ever have their 3rd match. Rampage - Rashad would be cool too.

I doubt they do Rampage/Rashad as they just dedicated most of a TUF season to promoting the fight. Expect them to do some kind of marathon of the whole season the week of the fight.

It's possible. There is also the intern heavyweight title on the line, so their probably should be a countdown showcasing that fight as well. Although, the UFC could just upload a countdown sort of video on to youtube to promote the Mir vs. Carwin fight.
