I love it...the MMA math. GSP would beat Gomi because he is bigger, stronger and more well-rounded. Not because GSP beat BJ and BJ beat Gomi.

If GSP can beat Gomi, do you think Hughes can beat Gomi as well?

That's a clever comment, but not really valid. First off, Matt Hughes holds wins over both GSP and BJ penn, but they are both fairly illegitimate in the eyes of fans, especially when it comes to using MMA math as both his wins are a type of "fluke".

Still, I do think Hughes would beat Gomi in a 170lb fight. I would love to see Gomi fight some 170lbers but have an inkling that he won't be able to hang. Would really love to see Gomi vs Diego...Diego could make 161 and come in the way he did for Riggs.

My Top 5

(0. Fedor)
1. Cro Cop
2. GSP
3. Mauricio RuA
4. Quinton Jackson
5. BJ Penn

Gimme:

Silva vs Liddell
Arlovski vs Fedor
Crocop vs Fedor 2

I'd be pretty entertained.

You have no basis for that comment. Penn beat Gomi and GSP beat Penn. Yea Gomi has gotten better, but did you see his last few fights? He hasn't been looking that good. GSP is a far better fighter and will prove it when no one in the UFC will beat him for the next four or more years. Gomi needs to show that he is consistent before you can say he will murder GSP. GSP is the S**T!

I would also really like to see Gomi fight the WW of the UFC, I just think he'd have a better shot vs Sherk/Diego. I don't think he can take down GSP/Hughes/Penn.
