...Bummer. I really wanted to see Fitch & Alves once more but anything can happen at any given time. It does take a serious set of stones to fight Jon at the last moment. Hope everything turns out alright with Thiago. 111 will still be an explosive event. Dana said they made 4 million at the gate and sold out quickly packing in 17k. I think the Jersey fans are gonna be like the Philly & Aussie fans were...LOUD!!

That sucks for Alves . . . I hope everything is OK.

BUT, am I the only one that thinks Ben has the potential to "shock" Fitch? This is a big switch going from Alves to Saunders. Just look at the height/reach difference. Saunders likes to bang too. This is definately still on my fight to watch list!!

Even if Ellinberger does get paid by the UFC he will miss his endorsement deals for this fight.

So the question now becomes...will Fitch lay on Ben for 3 rounds cause I can't see him standing with Ben. But I do hope that Fitch really comes in aggressive and puts on at the very least an active performance.

I want to see Ben win but I don't think it will happen.

damn this sucks i had taken ellenberger for the upset over saunders.

Calling it right now Ellenberger within the next 2 years gets a title shot.

I wouldn't even have called it an upset, Ellenberger is a beast. He come very close to finishing Condit but seemed to gas. I expected him to KO Saunders.

This definitely blows for Jake, hopefully the UFC cover all of his income for the fight, otherwise it's really unfair on him.

Fitch is gonna WRECK Saunders. Dude got worked on the ground by Swick. Fitch will maul him all night long and I think get the eventual stoppage.

Top 7 Favorite Fighters at the moment

1. Forrest Griffin
2. Clay Guida
3. Shane Carwin
4. Jon Fitch
5. Chuck Liddell
6. Wanderlei Silva
7. Chris Leben

They could always toss Ellenburger in with Alves at 112.

I honestly think that'd be a beast of a fight. He has a tough chin and throws bombs, just like Alves.

Will definitely be rooting for Killa, but this is a VERY tough fight for him. Can't help but think that Fitch wins a decision here...I'll be hoping Saunders pulls off the upset though.
