I think Cro-cop will win. Honestly i know Tim has knocked out some guys before, but if you really look at the shots they (the opponent) walked right into.

Tim can hit hard, but he wouldnt last long in a straight up striking contest with Cro-cop. Cro-cop punches and kicks like Chuck punches. Its just that hard. Hell he doesnt even have to kick him in the head, just in the body/legs a few times and Tim can buckle.

This would be the first fight where tim would be better off taking it to the ground. The ONLY two people I can see giving Cro any trouble would be AA because he is a very hard hitter and can catch you with that one punch and Randy because he is well just that good as a wrestler, but with Randy Josh Barnett was a easy victory for Cro-cop and I think Josh Barnett would dummy Randy.

This isnt brain surgery. Crocop and Tim are strikers. Crocop is just alot better of a striker. Height can be a factor in some fights, but not in this one. Mirko is 6'2 its not like he is 5'9 like Monson. If AA can catch Tim, Mirko will too.

Mirko leaves his opponents with some splitting headaches... Tim has power and I'll even say he has more physical power than crocop but Crocop is just a better all-around fighter... like a souped-up Liddell

I'm just curious on how CroCop will utilize his elbows, probably they have knock-out power as well.

But everybody on this forum believes that this will be no problem for Mirko Cro Cop. Why???
I posted this acouple of weeks ago on another post about my take on Cro Cop vs Sylvia:

I am a huge Cro Cop fan but I just dont feel comfortable about him dominating Sylvia. I mean lets be real here for a second. Cro Cop is what 6'2 maybe 6'3. Sylvia is like 6'8 or 6'9 with a reach of 78in. (lets just round that up to 80in. for the sake of this arguement) My gut tells me that Cro Cop will get eaten up with jabs and rights while he tries to go for a leg kick or a high kick. Sure he caught Alexsander Emelianenko but but A.E. didnt really stand back and use his reach (and he's like 6'6 or 6'7). Instead he went in and tried to brawl and get physical with Cro cop. Cro Cop caught him after he dazed A.E.pretty good (he was also breathing pretty hard) A.E. was also way overweight and somewhat out of shape IMO. I see Sylvia playing it safe with Cro cop because he'll respect Cro cop's power. I see him circling and attacking, using his jab to keep Cro cop away. I think Cro cop does have a great chance at getting through (b/c he is a world class K-1 fighter) but he will definitely have to each some jabs and straight rights. I actually see this ending much like AA/Sylvia 3 with Sylvia winning by decision. That is unless Cro cop chops his leg in half with a leg kick.

There you go. I hope Crocop goes with this when Tim starts using his jabs again and let Tim verbally submit like Yoshida (if I remember it correctly). AA was somewhat succeeding with leg kicks 'till he injured himself in the process. Crocop's thick legs & rock hard shins will be a different story. I feel sorry for Timmy chicken legs already.

seriously people, anyone who thinks tim can beat crocop is weird, we're not talking about an mma fighter whose got good standup we're talking about crocop ex k1 ex pride a worldclass striker who's destroyed opponents like wandy, fedor said that crocop was the best person he's ever fought. crocop is serious, he is one very dangerous man some people on this site don't realise how good he is and have probably not seen him fight before. i promise you this crocop will destroy sylvia it's fact, i'm not underestimating tim yeah he can hit hard and he's huge but tim has never fought anyone the calibre of crocop, sorry tim but your days are numbered.

I was just thinking the same thing. For all we know, CC has some crazy standing elbow death bomb he has been waiting to use.

He is not invincable. He was knocked out by Kevin Randleman who is in no way a striker and never knocked anyone out when he was in the UFC.

So if either Sylvia or Arlovski (both much better strikers, with a hell of a lot more reach and knockout power than Randleman) catch him with a good shot he will go to sleep.
