Its just that practically everybody on this forum believes that's what Mirko will do in the next two years. The only reason I am asking is because of Tim Sylvia. Now the reason everybody believes Tim Sylvia will win every time is because of the size advantage he has over his opponents. But everybody on this forum believes that this will be no problem for Mirko Cro Cop. Why???

Cro cop's caliber of talent is unmatched in the UFC heavyweight division, he is a top tier striker and has an awesome takedown defence. He will honestly trounce Tim.

Cro Cop has already proven that is lack of size doesnt effect him against bigger guys. He is lighter than most Heavyweights but still knocks out guys way taller and way bigger than him. The way he handled Aleksander is pretty much what I consider a preview of what he is going to do to Tim Sylvia.

I agree that Mirko should be Sylvia and probably will be the champion for awhile(Unless some new talent emerges),but wouldnt it be interesting for the sport if Tim gets past Couture and beat the shit out of CroCop.

I doubt it will happen,but it certainly would shake up everyone opinion of things.

I believe cro cop will come in and like ^ he said 'shake things up" but...my only fear is that cro cop will get knocked out by eddie sanchez's "right hand" ....if that happens.....theres not much i can say..cept, it'd make pride look very bad. But the way i see it is that they both have a weapon of mass destruction. Cro cop-kick eddie-right hand but sloppy. Either one could possibly knock the other out. so yea...i'm a noob at this stuff tho so don't flame me, i'm only stating what i believe is fact from watching their fights.

I think that Cro-Cop would beat Tim Sylvia but his problem will be with Andre Arlovski who will most likely fight Cro-Cop for a title shot, Arlovski is a world class striker like Mirko, that should be a great fight. Arlovski should be his toughest opponent, unless the rumors are true about Randy Couture returning to the HW division, and we all know that Randy is capable of beating anyone.

Just to add a lil more to Steveo412's good post. Aleksander Emelianenko is 6'6" 153lbs and came at Cro Cop hard, and actually was way more aggresive and Mirko still threw him to the ground multiple times, got inside the much taller man's strikes and out boxed him, then topped it off with a highlight reel KO, placed on the VERY HIGHEST point on the side of Aleks head. Sylvia is 6'8" 260-265 based on if you're asking him or not. Two inches is not that much. That same kick woulda done more damage to Tim as it would most likely had caught him in the jaw. Oh ya and besides the kicks, he has a straight left that can buckle anyones knees...
