Chuck also has one of the best sprawls in the game but Silva doesnt need to take it to the ground. Regardless of the outcome this would be one of the best matchups in MMA history and the winner would without a doubt be the best LHW in the world.
I would really love to see this fight and I say that both leagues are stupid for not doing it. I do not think that Silva would dominate Chuck in the clinch, only because when Randy beat Chuck it was not because of the clinch, and Randy is the best in the clinch in the UFC. I personaly think that Chuck would win mostly because of the roll that chuck is on and wandy is kind of on a slide. I am sure that it would be a battle however and I agree that winner would be the best in the history of MMA at the LWH.

I also think that Bisping has a chance in about 1.5 years, Chuck is not getting in younger, and Bisping has some awsome natural talent, and after he has a few good fights he will have a chance.

I think that Chuck will beat Rampage pretty easy in there rematch. But it should be an entertaining fight.

I just dont think that Rampage really has much of a chance, althought I dont think that anybody else does either. But Chuck has greatly improved since 2003 when he lost the first time. I am sure that they will fight again so we will see what happens.

I cannot wait to see what Rampage does when he gets in the octagon. If we get the pre chutebox victim rampage, then the lightheavyweight division is in for a rough ride! If we get the post chutebox victim rampage, then we still get a colorful fighter that will add some more depth to the division, but probably won't beat chuck.

Unless he fights Wand or Rua I don't see it happening soon.

Everyone is going ga-ga over rampage being in the UFC.

I like Quinton and I think he's had some very memorable bouts and is a great fighter but...

It's been going on 2 years since he KO'd anybody and his other fights since then went to the scorecards.

His most impressive recent win: Matt Lindland

Why that doesn't impress me?

"The Law" is no LHW and he still managed to go to a decision against somebody who is supposed to be know for his raw, savage power in the ring.

C'mon...

I don't think Quinton is the same fighter he was when he beat Chuck... he's declined while Chuck has gotten better.

If Chuck goes up to HW and fights CroCop that would be the first I see him losing. If Brandon Vera stays in the UFC he might give Chuck a run... as everyone has been talking, we REALLY need to see Chuck against a good striker before it's all said and done.

I say he'll go undefeated for another 2 -3 fights and then age will catch him and he'll have faced a competent striker and get KO'd.

Im gonna mostly agree with RUEVL...

Its just hard to say where either (Jackson & Liddell) stand compared to a striker at this point in time.

Havent seen much of change for Liddell since hes been at the top... no need for him to show anything different, what hes been doing has been working...
So, as far as being on the *top* of his game... I think hes just at a nice plateau.

Jackson on the otherhand, seems to have gone down...

IMHO, its gonna be Liddell on top... but thats only because Quinton is such a huge unknown at this time

peace
