Shoguns best shot is to clinch him and pin him against the cage and take his legs from him for a couple rounds, then really go after him. Machida could hardly walk by the fourth round the first time. But Machida is one of if not the best counter punchers in MMA, so blitzing him is never a good idea.

Elite fighters are constantly striving to improve and tweak their gameplan however they think they have to. Shogun has something up his sleeve, IMO.

Why would Lyoto do that, when he truly believes he won the fight?, if he thought he didn't that's another story but he really did beleive he won so again why the fu** would he give his belt!?

Why would Shogun have to change up anything? He got robbed of an easy decision. Even the hard-core Machida fans couldnt put up a gif that showed that Machida did any damage to Shogun but there were gifs on every mma forum that showed shogun doing damage to Machida. If I was Shogun going in to this fight I would be pretty confident knowing what I did to him in the first fight. Say what you want but check out fight metric, after all they counted the blows landed. Or you could listen to the pro mma fighters out there who say Shogun was robbed also if you dont like fight metric. If anything Machida has to change his stle more to win this fight than shogun.

Machida won....accept it or it will destroy your you, what you think is crap, and what you thinb is what you are. Its like people in the final four complaining about the refs, sorry you lost. But the records are in the boioks and the next fight the odds will be better so it will be 6 staright big money wins on the "god"

Machida didn't think he won the fight, you could see it on his face before they read the decision. I'm not at all saying he should give up his belt, but he didn't think he won the fight.

He never even said he won the fight in the post interviews......he kept saying "Three judges scored it for me" That doesn't sound like a man who believes he just defended his title. He also apologized to the fans when they booed the decision, if he thought he won he would have let us boo.
