Sylvia's days as champ could be numbered against Randy Couture. What Couture said about Sylvia being overly cautious and his critique of the Monson fight was bang-on. I'd add his title defence against Arlovski to that pile, as well. In his last two outings, Sylvia, a striker, has faced two opponents weak against strikers (Arlovski because he is said to have a weak chin, and Monson for being so much shorter) and gone to decision in both cases, in fights that were so boring I was flipping the channel. Indeed, in the Monson fight, I wasn't impressed by Sylvia, but I was impressed by Jeff Monson, who actually went out and tried to finish the fight by taking the big lummox down. I mean, if you're a striker, and you're fighting a submission wrestler who's nine inches shorter then you are, and that you outreach by a foot (was it a foot? Or more?), how do you not knock his block off in the first round?

I guess we'll see. But if Couture comes up the underdog on the line, which I expect he will, I might put some cash on Captain America.

Actually its not. Both Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie fought in the UFC after being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

I didnt know that royce was inducted, and I thought ken was inducted after he fought tito for the 3rd time.... so what happens if one of these hall of famers makes an ass out of themselves in the public... how bad would that be for the UFC?

Dude, Shamrock makes an ass out of himself in public every time he opens his mouth. As a matter of fact, when he opens the door in the moring to pick up the paper that he pretends to know how to read, that's when the making an ass out of yourself in public starts, and it doesn't stop until he goes home and goes to bed.

Couture unfortunately doesn't really have a chance to beat Sylvia. It would be a great day for MMA if Couture DID beat Sylvia for the Heavyweight Championship though.

Whether Randy wins or loses I think it's great. Randy is a die hard and after watching Tims boring fights he jumps back in to try and school him! Got to love his spirit...

Tim's days are numbered for sure. If Randy can't beat him (I'm leaning towards yes on this one) Mirko will kill him with a left high. I for one am glad that Randy hit the nail on the head when saying Timmy doesn't fight to win only not to lose.

Tim is so boring. You never know, sports can be a bit fishy sometimes. If it goes to the cards, which it surely will, maybe the ufc gives it to Raandy to get Tim OUT of there.
