Karo Parisyan at UFC 68

Vs who? I really think Karo is fierce competition in the WW division and his loss to Sanchez was a fluke. Maybe I'm being an optimist, but I think Karo has a good shot at Matt Hughes. Even though he lost to Sanchez, I think that loss is going to inspire him to come back and beat Hughes and/or Sanchez again. Anyways, is there another challenge out there for Parisyan other than Hughes/Sanchez/StPierre?

I love me some Karo, but his fight with Sanchez wasn't a fluke. Sanchez turned up the heat(No pun intended) in the third, and won a close fight based on that. It's cool if you don't like Diego, but calling his win a "fluke" is just asinine.

I didn't call Sanchez, nor did I imply that. I think the fight was a fluke in respect to the fact that if they were to fight again that Karo would win, and would be a lot better prepared/ready to fight

Agreed. I love watching Karo fight. If was funny as hell how Diego before the fight said "that judo crap will not work on me" and then Karo threw him with several judo throws in the fight like he was nothing lol.

But Diego did deserve the win, it was a good close fight, if they fought again it "might" go the other way, who knows.

Nope, not a fluke. Last time I checked Sanchez v. Parisyan was blowing away competition on the MMAweekly poll for best fight of 2006. It had like 40% when 11000 people had voted. No other fight came close. There should def. be a rematch...hopefully for the title. I hope they give Karo a decent opponent. Don't want to see another Sanchez v. Riggs and if it is true that Hughes is fighting Lyttle....I would love to see Karo v. Kos. I think Karo would ko him.

Totally agree. But I would like to see a Riggs vs Sanchez 2. First fight was crappy, kinda lucky ending for Sanchez. I don't think anyone really thought Sanchez could or would KO Riggs.

Most people thought Riggs would KO Snachez or Sanchez would take it to the ground and get hard fought win. Not many would of guessed that Sanchez would KO Riggs using his standup game. Running knee to the face is about the only way Sanchez could ever KO Riggs with his standup game lol.

I am a little protective because Diego is my fave fighter but I couldn't disagree more in needing to see Riggs v. Sanchez II. Nobody expected Diego to KO Riggs, or beat Karo, or Diaz....now, nobody expects him to beat GSP.
"No but really this time, REALLY there's no way"
People say the same shit before each Diego fight. And if you call that KO lucky then every KO is lucky and if every KO is lucky then they should not be admired.....but we all do don't we? It was a devastating KO (Riggs first if I am not mistaken) and if people want to chalk it up to "Luck" then I guess Chuck Lidell/GSP/A. Silva etc. etc. are the luckiest mother****ers alive.
