And yet Vegas hosted about every Mayweather or Jones Jr fight ever, both fighters known for carrying fighters despite the opponent being completely overmatched.

Complete BS.
I hear you, but I think the difference is Andy didn't look like he was trying. You can fake trying and extend a fight. It's hard to call someone out on an official ruling who at least is faking effort well, Andy didn't even fake it, he was blatantly clowning around. Dancing here & there and show boating Roy Jones, Jr. style is one thing, but when your fight looks like an audition tape for Dancing With The Stars, it's a different league of BSing. Nonetheless, I don't think anything will happen. Perhaps if Andy was a low tier fighter he'd get penalized, but he's too big of a name and draws too much money. The money draw element carries a ton of weight in any sport.

Like I said, Holyfield once through 40 punches over the course of like 8 or 10 rounds.

Ruiz once clinched(illegal tactic in boxing) more times than he threw punches one round.

No way this is true, if so it's complete hypocrisy and a step back for the sport.

Dirrell is another example. Once almost caused a riot because he ran so much during a fight. No problems getting fights...

This is ridiculous, I understand Dana and fans being pissed but not allowing him to fight in Vegas or putting him on the undercard or stripping his belt is a joke. This is a sport you can't control everything like Dana thinks he can. If anything happens as a result of this fight I will seriously consider not watching the UFC anymore which I have been a die hard fan for almost 7 years now. IMO if any action is taken it de-legitimizes the sport, this is a real sport not the WWE.

I wouldn't mind if Anderson never fought again, period.

He's had three main event title fights now where he has completely embarrassed the sport, insulted it's fans, and basically given the finger to UFC ownership and management.

His situation is becoming increasingly intolerable, and whatever punitive action Dana or athletic commissions take, I have no objection to.

What are you talking about? Where did the other two main events come from?
