i was checking the website and it has some of the best rankings i've seen online.

You have to account that is a computarized system which evaluates records, so all that matters is who you beat during your career, who've you beat lately, and your streak.

This list delivers for what it is, an objective view into fighters records aka Rankings.

Thank you very much.
And just for everybody else, Chileandude is not in any way connected to ScorecardMMA team.
We completely redesigned our database and algorithms in last 3 months and now we will be putting more good stuff there.

OK. I get it, with the scores and points, all time and current.
But imo rankings should be about who is the best.
Maybe it's just me, but this is how i see it.
And for me, Huerta, Thomspon, Henderson are better than Guida. I wanna clarify one thing: I have absolutely nothing against Guida. I think he is a good fighter, but in this case i will use him as an example. Also i would put Alvarez in the Top7. Noons, Miller, Dunham are too high imo.

Annyway.
I have my personal ranking and i am sticking to it.

Same thing with Hendo - he has same score in UFC and Strikeforce (at least before he lost from Shields).
The fact is that if somebody is in UFC, he will most likely face better competition, which brings more points.

Regarding Huerta, I already told you that he is ranked very high on All Time list. But on the Current Ranking (those are two separate scores) he is lower because he didn't fight much lately and his last opponent was very bad.
If he goes into Bellator final and then fights Alvarez, he will jump very high. But that is IF and WHEN!
The problem is how were the original rankings decided you wouldn't get the results you have if what I said was untrue.

You saying UFC fighters face better competition was disproven by my example of Stout/Amade. They are about equal in talent one fights cans and occasionally a middling fighter at about a 60-70% win rate the other only has a loss in his first fight outside of losing to (real)top 20 level talent. So it awards can kicking(UFC has golden bedazzled cans apparently) and over ranks those people then under ranks guys of the same level who fight tough competition. Since the system is based on its own rankings it creates an unending distortion of value.

Huerta being so low with only a split loss to Maynard and a decision to Florian in his entire career is beyond retarded. And George being so much further down from Joe Stevenson - who he just thoroughly wrecked - is embarrassing.

If Bj wins his rematch he will probably be where he was before like it never happened.

I'm sure BJ fans would love that. BJ Penn is now the only "elite" fighter with 6 convincing losses on his record, some of which were recently.

Tell that to Fedor.

IMO Penn should do the unthinkable and temporarily leave to the 145lb weightclass to challenge the three top dogs there. If he can get through Mike Brown, he gets loser of Faber/Aldo and if he wins he gets the champion (Aldo ).
