I hope he does well in PRIDE, but I don't see him doing any better. He just won't have as much to whine about because of scoring, because he'll probably lose decisively to a lot of PRIDE's top guys. He just needs to do a bit of growing up, and realize what he has to do if he doesn't want be beaten by takedowns.

Chuck and Tim are two champions that would argue that there are ways to avoid leaving it up to the judges and how they score take-downs.

I like Diaz a lot, but he has started thinking he is a stand up king and stopped working for his own grappling points. If he does not want to play the Counter-Punch and sprawl game like Chuck/Tim then he should devote the second period to showing he can dominate the ground (if he can) to score some points. Then, he could fancy pants pose&taunt&punch like he likes to do in the first and 3rd and get the decision himself.

You said it all here, I love to wathc Diaz but he does not seem to be improving as fast as he needs to keep up in the UFC.

I would like to see him get some better fights though, it might be fun to see him in Pride.

I like Diaz. Hope he does well wherever he goes. As much as I like him he won't be champ. We all know that. But he is very charismatic and a fun fighter to watch. Most importantly, NOBODY has submitted him or made him quit. Gotta respect that. Only 1 loss by TKO or its been decisions
