You Tube - Cro Cop Highlights

This might be a somewhat controversial thing to say, but wtf is wrong with Dana White and the UFC. I know they always shut down YouTube coverage of the UFC within a day or so of the event, but now they have a serious opportunity to take advantage of YouTube and direct people to go their, type in his name, and get some examples of how this guy kicks ass.

Do they think a 10 second highlight of Cro Cop kicking a bag is going to get the average, non-educated on MMA, fan to tune in for his fight?

I think Dana White takes this whole you crossed me bs WAY TOO SERIOUSLY!! Even if he is taking it seriously, why not use YouTube at this stage for some super free publicity for this event?

If you had any idea about business, you would understand why they don't show all his Pride highlights. Enough said.

If the average "UFC fan" doesn't knwo enough to go online and look up Cro Cop, then who cares what they think of the fight. Let him show them after he comes in. If he lives up to the hype, they will be all over the net looking up his vids.

I see where your going, but it probably better to just let the non-crocop fans find out for themselves at UFC 67 how good he really is.

I'm sure more people have already looked up stuff on CC without having to be told how to find him on YouTube.

I think my main concern with this narrow minded approach is as follows. In regards to the comment about business I run a successful website company (lol) so poo on you. Let me ask you this? If a boxing fan watches the IBF Heavyweight title fight, do you not think they will in turn watch the WBC title fight two weeks later, and then return and watch the next IBF title fight?

Dana's approach to hiding from Pride is small diick, narrowed minded business. If the average newbie MMA fan were to watch a Pride event, do you really think that will stop them from watching the next UFC event? Come on now, of course not. If anything it will encourage them to watch the next event as it will show them that the sport is universal and more recognized then they might have imagined in the first place.

What do you think?

If you are asking me, what I think.....

I think Dana is a good business man. He is doing good in not talking abotu Pride all the time. It is smart business. Do you think UPS talks about FedEx to their customers? I don't think so.

As far as the boxing comments......this isn't boxing we are talking about is it? It is MMA. It is one thing to talk about other small organizations, but stupid to talk about the main competition. Once MMA gets to be as big as boxing, the different organizations will be on in the same.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I absolutely guarantee FedEx talks about UPS and vice versa. Comparing your products is a smart tactic to show your superiority don't you think?

Dana's reluctance to refer to Pride is showing that he is scared of them as an organization and is completely narrow minded.

If UPS and FedEx pitch the same customer, the outcome is the same in the long term, that customer is using this service. Pride and the UFC don't have to worry about competing for the same specific dollars (events are on different nights, in different places etc)

Dana is a chump not to embrace things in the greater context IMO.

You mean Dana White? The same guy that took a company that was going bankrupt, slowly being banned from this country, and turned it around into what you see today. That same guy? Good point

No, I doubt if you walk in a UPS store, that you will hear them say hey try FedEX.........so your logic doesn't make sense. Yeah they talk about each other within the company.....not to customers. Just like UFC. Did you have a point? All you have said has been pretty moot so far.

Dana not talkng about Pride to the fans, is smart. It doesn't show fear or anything else other than he is not stupid. you know this though from being a successful business man though right?
If your are right, and Dana is a chump....I hope he keeps on being one, because I have enjoyed everything he has done, and so has the entire MMA community
