UFC Entrances

I was wondering why UFC doesn't use entrances like PRIDE. I think it makes the fights more intense with the adrenaline rush of waiting for the fighters to walk down from a screen and platform. Does anyone else think it would be a nice gimmick to have or is it just me? If this has been posted before I'm sorry, I was too lazy to search it.

Yeah UFC needs the big stages for entrances again, last time the had it was UFC 43 I believe. It makes the UFC seem much more global and huge with a proper stage for entrances.

Pride entrances are way more baller. I think they should get the japanese announcer to thhat screams the fighters names. Crooooooooooo Cop (anyone in the know, knows who im talkin about.) That would finally make the UFC cooler than the WWE.

I agree,
Pirde entrance are more amazing and create more emotions...
and in my idea the bruce buffer part when he introduce fighters is too long, it take all the emotions from me cause it take more than 1 or 2 minutes..
but in pride it is less than minutes..
also in pride referee calls fighters in center of ring face to face , it is my favorite part, but in ufc only main events include this section...

I think its really about the fighters entrance music, I really like Tito Ortiz entrance its a good fighting song, gets people pumped. Compared to a Matt Hughes who comes out to johney Cash.

The Pride entrances are pretty gully, but I think the ufc wants to stay away from that. In other words not make themselves look like the wwe or to a lesser extent pride. I think the whole massive entrance takes away from the realism of the sport.

Matt Hughes' entrance theme is A Country Boy Can Survive by Hank Williams Jr.
