This is not to single out anyone on this forum, but here is proof of people favouring Rich over Anderson, before the fight or just simply people giving Rich props, which never happens nowadays.

Franklin had the most inept strategy in the Silva fight. With how smart Rich is, I was shocked he decided to stand with Anderson. Maybe he was too lazy to watch footage, maybe he was sick, or maybe he thought he was king shit. Whatever the reason was, it was stupid to trade punches with a world class striker, who throws with precision.

I like Rich. Always have, and always will.

I gave Rich alot of props before he fought Anderson and I had him as the number 1 MW in the world. But I always thought he was kinda lucky to have the rating he had by me and most others. I think all his ratings were based on what people thought he could do against a great fighter because he never really beat anyone great. He beat Tanner whose good and thats about it. Then he came in and fought his toughest competion and he not only lost he got utterly dominated. I dont think he would have lost so much respect if it wouldve been a more competitive fight but the truth is Anderson pretty much made him look like a little boy. I think the drop off he had in respect was justified.

Yeah, he lost bad to Anderson Silva but every fighter has those nights. Chuck Liddell got his ass kicked by Randy Couture and Chuck came back with a vengence. Tim Sylvia was submitted by Andre the first time they fought in the first round. The next time they fought, Tim knocked Andre out.

So just because Anderson dominated Rich the first time doesn't mean he'll do it again a second time. Rich will come back stronger and better prepared, you can count on that.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Ok first Rich Franklin is a GREAT fighter... i just love the bandwaggoners that jump onto another figher after that fighter just beat a raelly good fighter as did Anderson did to Rich. Second who are you guys going to jump onto the bandwaggon when anderson gets beat. Third if Ortiz (big IF) beat Chuck lots of people would be underrating Chuck and doing what is happening to Rich. I dont know why people think they are the smartest shit when they see a great fighter loose to another great fighter and say the looser sucks and doest compare to anyone..... Maybe if you watch MMA a few more years you people that i mentioned will learn a thing or 2

I also think Rich is a world class fighter and has a great chance in becoming the champion once again. No excused for Rich but I knew he lost the fight when he was walking to the octagon. If you have a few minutes test me on this...

Goto YouTube or something and watch a few of his previous fights and how energetic and colorful he was walking into the octagon and how he pointed and stuff at the fans.

Then look at his Silva fight. He just wasnt himself. He made some of the same antics but no energy behind them.

I dont know about the rumors of him being sick and stuff before it, and as stated I could never see him saying it or using it as an excuse, I just know he wasnt himself that night.

And Silva IS beatable. It will happen this year.

And I predict Silva to beat Franklin in the same manner in their rematch Rich is still very good, just not Anderson Silva good..
