Shogun is a guy who is rising up the ranks. Call me crazy, but I actually think Shogun is technically better than Wandy.
chuck is great no doubt but i want to see him face another great striker before i can call him best

I like Babalu too and I hope he fights Ortiz. I see Ortiz dipping Babalu, doing his thing, elbows and all. But remember, Ortiz does this all from the guard a lot of the time. Babalu is catching an arm or triangle choke. I would prefer a triangle choke. Make Ortiz's head look like a big red tomato. I think it would be closer than that, but I give Babalu the nod. He is a strong LHW, remember he used to be a HW.

ortiz is just a bad match up for babalu on thier feet tito has more precise striking than babalu who just goes crazy and ends up getting caught and on the ground tito has great submission defense so i dont see babalu submitting him not to mention tito is alot stronger and would be able to gnp to at least a decision

[x] Mauricio "Shogun" Rua

From the choices given, I voted for Wanderlei although it was basically a coin flip between him and Chuck.

WTF is Tito doing as a poll option?

Sobral deserves to be on the list and he is world class. I can really see him putting a good fight with any best light-heavyweight in the world. Its a shame he tried to knock liddell out instead of using his gameplan in the second fight

Franklin,Gouveia,Maia,Kharitonov,Hunt,Liddell,Pari syan,Hardy,Shlemenko,Machida,Gomi,Bustamante,Evans ,Edgar,Hathaway,Bonnar,Murray,S.Carter,Ludwig,Pett is,K.Gill,Sobral,Mousasi,D.Cruz,Arona,Nogueiras,Co te,Ole Laursen,Kawajiri,Sakuraba & K1 Lebanner!

Shogun's style is one that can beat Liddell's...he fights like Rampage, but with better standup and less slamming...

Shogun and Liddell are 1 and 1a in my mind...
