I agree, the potential is there, the UFC leadership needs to set-up better fights for Rashad.

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I still have my reservations. Yeah, he's still improving. (Good thing he got rid of the showboating, like he did on TUF) It is obvious that the UFC is groming him to become a top contender, kinda like the way they are building Diego, but w/ less caliber opponents. Though unlike Diego, he doesn't have tenacity to finish people.I hope training with Greg Jackson do some wonders for him. Maybe he's on his way to become a more exciting fighter, since he finished Lambert last time; but for now, I'll just watch him on Free TV...and won't be paying to see him on PPV just yet.

BTW, I don't know this Salmon guy, I'll be rooting for him to beat Rashad. Though it's highly unlikely.

A while back, I hated Evans. He always put on the most boring performances, at least I thought so. But after the Lambert fight, I was impressed at his improvment and I now think that givin some time, he'll become an excellent contendor at 205. I wouldn't say i'm a huge fan of his, but i do respect the fact that he seems to be showing improvment with every fight.

I mean when was the last time you saw somebody else finish a fight against Keith Jardine, Stephan Bonnar, and Sam Hoger. All these guys fight went to a decision prior to fighting Evans. Even the Brad Imes fight was hard as hell. The man he fought was a natural heavyweight. It was impressive that Rashad knocked this guy on his ass twice in this fight.

Besides, Rashad has proven he can finish a fight. As soon as he saw an opening he beat the crap out of Lambert.

So I l think Rashad will make it big in the UFC.
I agree 200% with these 2 posts. I have nothing else to add whatsoever! Rep to you both!

I agree , He has improved alot. I still can't decide if I like him or not.Until we see what he is capable of no one can be sure if he can rise all the way to the top. He needs a real test.

Feelings ... What are those?
Neg. rep me all you want, not leavin' your name, thats a b***h move.

Jason Lambert is no slouch. And Bonnar and Hogar are decent opponents as well, granted they are not contender opponents, they are both good fighters.

What brain surgeon said Rashad Vs Sobral

Rashad is lucky they have not matched him against anyone who is even considerd legitiment in this sport.

This fight coming up is another bum they scraped the bottom of the barrel for so he could get another win.

This guy sucks. The day he gets in there with a good striker he gets knocked out.

The day he fights a guy with good BJJ skills he gets submitted.

End of story End of UFC End of being carried
