GSP at UFC 69
I was just watching TKO and Stephane Patry announced that Georges St-Pierre's knee injury is healing well and that he will definitely be ready to fight on april 7th in Texas against Matt Sera for UFC 69. Good news!

It's a shame he won't be fighting in Canada.

I'm glad GSP takes his time with injuries so he can be 100%. Of all fights to delay, this would be the least likely since Serra is the lowest quality opponent he will ever face as champ.
I really hope he comes in 100% and is able to fight again @ UFC 71 vs Diego. Diego is really due and doesn't need to wait any longer. That is the problem with having a high performance guy like GSP as the champ though, they're just not as rugged. If you look @ Matt Hughes' build and then @ GSP's, you know GSP is more injury prone.

Should give the UFC enough time to put a Sanchez/Hughes fight together, no?

Sanchez defiently has to fight Hughes before he gets his shot at St. Pierre. If he can beat Hughes he'll prove his worth. By the way exactly what was GSP's injury and how did it go down?

They will definitely match up very soon, but why is everyone begining to underestimate Hughes after losing one fight? I know Diego is good, but he hasn't faced anyone of Hughes' caliber as of yet. 2 great fighters with incredible cardio, should be a hell of a fight. I think Hughes is just too strong and his wrestling is just too good to lost to Diego.

I hope this isnt a pattern with GSP. Of course major injuries you gotta rehab, but he's the champion now and he needs to defend his title often.
