On the show "inside the ufc" randy said that he signed a 4 or 5 fight contract that will last 2 years.

He'll most likely be preparing to defend his Heavyweight Title.

He signed with the UFC? I haven't heard that anywhere. I do know he's fighting on the same card as Fedor vs Lindland though..

What a stud

If Randy wins he honors his contract the best way he can, even if he loses the title I see him dropping down and challenging tito or somebody else for one final fight. It is a formality that Mirko will become hw champion. As big a Couture fan that I am, there is no way that Mirko will be without gold by the end of the year.

If Randy loses he gets thrown in against a bunch of cans or rising stars in the hw division.

There were some rumors awhile back that he was coming to the UFC,but yeah haven't seen anything new on that for awhile. Randy has like someone else said a 4 fight contract,so win or lose against Tim he'll get some more fights in. It was probably a 4 fight deal,so if he loses against Tim,he has a chance to fight 2 or 3 times more and earn another title shot and then retire win/lose after that.
