yup, i read dana white say pride didnt come through AGAIN, so pretty much its just a bunch of bullshit thats preventing this fight, dana thought it would all work out but pride didnt follow through as planned, so it aint danas fault, if it happens tho, it aint happenin this year

I heard Dana was the one FOS. But in any case I think Silva was unable to fightbecause crocop kicked his head off. Silva wasn't cleared to fight in the US until prob Jan/feb after that KO.

That's the thing. Dana made some grand spectacle of the Liddell vs. Wandi fight but was clear from the outset that it was contingent upon Chuck beating Babalu and Wandi beating his next two opponents at the GP. Somehow I think he knew Wandi wasn't going to make it out of there and thus he wouldn't have to come through on the deal.

A little free publicity never hurts: get people talking about your organization, stir up interest in the fight cards, etc.

when you say pride is not coming through what do you mean? is silva under contract with pride and they wont let him fight. if so why would pride let him even fight in the first place?

PRIDE is the problem I heard. Wandy should jump to the UFC anyway. He's gota few fights awaiting him over there.
