I also found it annoying how Joe kept pointing out that Heath wasn't even holding Jake's leg down in the guard. From what I saw, everytime Jake tried to pass and get outta half guard, Heath would tighten his legs up and lock Jake's leg in place, then when Jake stopped trying to pass, Heath would relax his legs again. It looked like Heath knew that this guy was not gonna submit him. But that's when he should have capatalized! I don't understand what was going through Heath's mind during this fight. He was too worried about putting on a show and not focussing on winning the fight any way possible. He looked overly excited and lost. I hope he has a better gameplan next fight, you know, a gameplan that includes winning the fight whether you're on the ground or on your feet.
Its possible, thats why you study an opponent right?

Lots of fighter do it if they think they are supirior onthe ground, i think a good example was monsoon VS silvia.

I remeber monsoon giving silvia his back a few times and sylvia didnt do much with it, however other then that his bjj kinda impressed me that fight. Well it impressed me for silvia, not used to see him doing that.
