8 out of 10. First Fight was pretty solid with a KO. 2nd fight was an upset fight that was sorta of interesting till we realized that O'Brien couldnt do a submission ,but it was still interesting. 3rd fight was short(I actually missed most of it),but was nice submission.

4th fight was awesome. First Round Sean probably won although it wasnt dominating then we get in the 2nd round a major highlight kick.

NOTE(I"m only rating this high if Sean is okay),otherwise the event sucked.

I give it a 7. Evans and Short fuse were the bright spots. Fisher and Salmon being hurt were disappointing. Sounds like the Lister fight may of been a snooze fest.

Does anyone have an update on the kind of injury that high kick did to Salmon? He looked rough as hell lying there on the ground. I have not seen someone knocked out cold like that in a very long time.

Anytime you get knocked out like that severe there have been vast studies showing the HUGE increased risk of seizures and long term problems... ugh I love MMA and training in it but like I said in another post 30 years from now I would put my life that there will be MANY fighters with severe problems.

I hope he recovers with no short or long term problems.

Psh, I'd give this a 2 out of 10. That was honestly one of the most embarassing fight events I've seen in some time. Heath "Hold Me Down" Herring, Sean "Fish Kick" Salmon... Honestly, the only somewhat exciting fight was Hermes Franca. Even that was a bit disappointing. Franca did a decent job, but Spencer looked bad and Franca didn't have the power to drop him. I don't care how much pleading he does... Does he really think he can step into the octagon with guys like Penn, Gomi, or Sherk?

I think Dana knows this was a bad event too. Not only was the crowd boo'ing an incredibly boring Herring fight, but me and my roomates couldn't stop laughing the second we saw Salmon do that goofy jump kick. Nothing against the guy, but you can look at his physique and the way he moves that he's not UFC material. Am I supposed to be impressed with Rashad when he's in there to beat the epitome of a can?

Ed Herman's victory was nice but short lived and did little to excite the event in my mind. I talked to my roomates after the fight, and both were as disappointed as I to how they opened up the 2007 season. Ahh well, maybe Rashad will be confident in his standup so Chuck can send him packing early.

Spencer didn't look bad...it looked like Hermes was and is the better fighter, ever think of that?

I give it 7.5, pretty good fights considering the line-up.
