The LHW Contender Situation

evans vs rampage
jardine vs forrest

winner's fight for the #1 contender spot. this is assuming rampage wins at ufc 67 (which we know he will).

it seems fair to me based on how the light heavy's are stacked up right now.

input?

i agree with evans v rampage i'd like to see rampage kick evans ass after all it's about time evans fought a decent fighter. why have another jardine v forrest match when you could get bisping to fight jardine, my money's on bisping but it would be a good fight

1st Tier
Chuck Liddel, Rampage, Ortiz, Babalu

2nd Tier
Evans, Bisping, Griffin, Machida, Jardine

*Guys are the same tier can be better than one another but still be on the same tier.

I orginally had Machida on the 1st tier but I am going to let him debut first to judge how he will do in the UFC.

yeah i agree there is no clear no.1 contender, we need a few fights to happen, i'd love to see bisping bash up evans, jardine and forrest he has better standup than all these guys. i'd like to see babalu v tito i think babalu has tito's number on this one, i'd like to see bisping bash tito too i think basically i'm saying bisping will be the future no.1 contender

going back to the first post why is griffin being considered? he lost to an injured tito in a close fight when a 100% tito got his ass handed to him by liddell. and then he gets killed by jardine. why let him cry again? it may have looked like forrest was winning the fight but jardine was just looking and waiting for an opportunity.

i personally think the decision win for tito against forrest was lame as hell. forrest won that fight in my opinion. and 9 out of 10 times i think forrest beats jardine. but i do agree that as of right now he probably shouldnt be considered as a contender i was just using him as a quality fight for someone who could face chuck.
