If he is indeed training there...good for him. He's at least taking the fight serioulsy and not getting a big head, he will have his hands full with a pissed off Franklin coming at him.

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

If MacDonald uses the clinch Rich could be in trouble

I hate picking a winner out of this fight, two of my favourite fighters in the middleweight division! I want MacDonald to prove that he's not just a stepping stone for others in the UFC, but at the same time I want Rich to come back and take the belt off Silva.

I would love for MacDonald to win this fight. It's not that I have a problem with Rich, but I feel like there needs to be some new blood in the middleweight division.

I don't see MacDonald winning this on the feet, but if he's training with Greg Jackson, anything is possible. I mean, Rashad Evan's winning with a head kick KO. Pretty impressive.

If he's training with Jackson that means one of his training partners is the Great Nate Marquardt, and that'll take his standup to a new level.

If Rich doesn't bounce back all the way and Jason improves his standup I think he has a really good chance at winning this fight.

I like Jason McDonald too. This man was brought in to lose and pulled two upsets. But I really don't see this going his way. Nate Quarry is a better striker then Jason McDonald and "Ace" pretty much killed him.

Also, Rich is no slouch on the ground. Even if McDonald does get him on the ground, McDonald will have a hard time submitting Franklin. Rich is 10x better then Ed Herman and Chris Leban.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam
